Setup & Fortify

Setup Phase 1

Each player places 5 armies on any unclaimed or owned territory. Turns rotate until all territories are claimed or armies are placed.

Setup Phase 2

Each player places 3 more armies on any territory they own. This continues until all starting armies are placed.

Fortify Phase

At the end of your turn you may move armies from one of your territories to an adjacent territory you own. You must keep at least 1 army behind. You may only fortify once per turn.

Draft / Reinforce

Army Calculation

You receive armies equal to (territories owned ÷ 3, minimum 3). Round down. These are placed on any territory you own.

Continent Bonuses

Controlling all territories in a continent grants bonus armies each turn: • North America: +5 • South America: +2 • Europe: +5 • Africa: +3 • Asia: +7 • Australia: +2

Extra Reinforcements

The 'Extra Reinforcements' situational card adds armies equal to half your territory count on top of your normal draft.

Attack

How to Attack

Click an owned territory with 2+ armies, then click an adjacent enemy territory to open the attack dialog. Select 1–3 dice to attack with.

Dice Rules

Attacker rolls up to 3 dice (max = armies − 1, max 3). Defender rolls up to 2 dice. Each pair is compared highest to highest. Ties go to the defender.

Conquest

If the defender loses all armies, the attacker conquers the territory and must move at least 1 army in. You draw a card if you conquered at least 1 territory this turn.

Situational Modifiers

Snow: defender rolls 4 dice. Favorable Wind: attacker rolls +1 die. 'Rest' card: target player cannot attack.

Cards & Missions

Country Cards

Earn 1 card per turn if you conquered at least 1 territory. Cards show a type: Balloon, Sword, Rifle, or Wild. Trade sets of 3 (all same or all different) during your draft phase for +2 bonus armies.

Situational Cards

A new situational card is drawn at the start of each full round. It affects all players for that round. Types include: Snow, Favorable Wind, Crisis, Extra Reinforcements, Closed Borders, and player-specific Rest cards.

Missions / Objectives

Each player is assigned a secret objective at game start. Objectives include: conquering specific continents, holding 18 or 24 territories, or eliminating a specific opponent.

Destroy Objective

If your mission is to eliminate a specific player and that player is already eliminated, you win instead by conquering 24 territories.
